Our grants programmesWe run a number of programmes to suit different organisations and projects.
You will find our current programmes described below. From time to time, we
may run other programmes which we will announce beforehand.
Small grants for small groupsAwards for All (England, Scotland and Northern Ireland) Awards for All is a grant scheme for small groups involved in arts, sports, heritage and voluntary and community activities who want small grants of between �500 and �5,000. The scheme is funded by the National Lottery distributors in England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. In England, the scheme gives priority to groups with an income of less than �15,000 a year. In Scotland, the scheme only awards grants to groups with an income of �15,000 or less each year. Groups must spend the money and complete any activities within one year of receiving the grant. Small grants scheme for WalesUnder this scheme, we award grants of between �500 and �5,000 to small local groups. These groups must spend the money and complete their activities within six months of receiving the grant. This scheme awards grants to groups with an income of less than �15,000 a year. Research GrantsThe Charities Board will run a new research programme, dedicated to the areas
of health and social well-being, from 11 June 2001. The new programme will be
continuous with no closing dates for applications. Under the programme we want
to fund high quality research, in particular research that could have a real
impact on helping those at greatest disadvantage in society.
Welsh LanguageWe are committed to the Welsh Language Scheme. All application packs are available in Welsh. Welsh language applicants should call 0845 727 3273.
