School leavers with learning disabilities often need sensitive job training supervision in a constructive atmosphere. An atmosphere of positive endeavour and caring support prevails at the horticultural training garden centre of the Harington Scheme in Highgate. Most of the trainees have attended special schools. Many have made progress on City and Guilds courses and work placements.
