This group works with people with learning difficulties to help them get access to training and employment; particularly in horticulture. They have been successful in providing a unique, flexible and student-led training programme for adults with learning disabilities. The project has gained a solid reputation for improving the well-being, self-confidence and skills of young people with special needs.
"Your grant enabled us to develop and establish an innovative training project for adults with learning difficulties, fully integrated into the very public environment of Surrey Docks City Farm. The subsequent value of this establishment period has been a sustained recognition of a quality service from statutory providers" (James Taylor at Surrey Docks Farm)
