Examples of our Funding

What we�ve funded...just a few of the thousands of projects we have funded so far.

Sleep Scotland

�410,048 to create counselling clinics for the parents of children who have severe sleep disorders. Sleep Scotland is a new organisation which was set up by a mother who realised her child was not the only one to have sleepless nights because of his special needs. The grant is training sleep councillors at centres throughout Scotland.

Interplay

A grant of �283,935 over three years provided an integrated play area in Coatbridge for young people with special needs and created priority access for disabled users. A range of specialist play equipment was provided and salaries for sessional supervisory staff.

Blackburn Family Association

Aims to provide mutual support for families, facilitate further education opportunities, offer a safe play environment and provide resources for famlies on low income. A grant of �239,631 funded development worker and play workers, and contributed towards the running costs of the project which is located in West Lothian.

Arran Textiles

Project Orchil...provides women on the Island of Arran with traditional textile skills such as spinning and weaving, and modern skills of textile technology and marketing. The three - year grant of �160,745 paid the salaries of a project co-ordinator and an administrator, purchased computer equipment and helped to meet running costs.
