The Scotland Committee

Members of the Scotland Committee decide which applications to fund on the recommendation of grants officers who assess all the applications. The committee meets several times a year.

Members of the committee are appointed by the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport on the advice of the Secretary of State for Scotland. In 1999 the Board widened the base of this committee by appointing three new members recruited through open advertising.
