Grants to develop projects

The Board in Wales has decided that only 25% of the sum available to the Community involvement and Poverty and disadvantage programmes will go towards applications that develop or continue previous awards. For the financial year 2000/2001 this amounts to �4,644,000. Although this seems a lot of money, given that an average main grant is �185,000, this means that there will only be around 25 successful applications to develop previous awards.
