Logo DownloadsBelow are listed all variants of the National Lottery Charities Board logo in three different resolutions. Images are available in:
EPS format is recommended for all professional printed media, as the format can be output at any resolution. You should download images in this format if you intend to have the logo printed professionally, or have the appropriate applications to access the files. GIF provides a logo in a compressed form (this is done by restricting the number of colours used in the logo to 16) which makes it quicker to download and is recommended for people who cannot access EPS files. Some professional printers may experience problems in outputting GIFs because of the way colours are stored, if this is the case then down load either Image Explorer Pro for Windows, or Graphic Converter for Macintosh, which will be able to convert the file format. BMP files are one of the most widely used graphic formats. These files can been used in word documents but it should be noted their size often makes them too big to fit on disc. They may also take some time to download. DPI stands for Dots Per Inch. The larger this value is, the better the quality of printing will be and the more the image can be enlarged, but this also means a larger file size.
Downloading the images Most browsers will try to open the image below in a browser window rather than save it to disc. To avoid this use the right mouse button to click on the link (rather than the left) and select 'Save Link As...' or 'Save Target As...' from the menu, choose a file location and select 'Save'.
