310105 Changes in BIG programmes

The Big Lottery Fund in Northern Ireland has announced important deadlines regarding its Voluntary and Community Funding programme (formerly known as Community Fund Large and Medium grants programmes). These are the important dates to remember if you wish to make an application :

31st March 2005 - last date to receive and return an outline proposal form
30 June 2005 - last date for receipt of applications forms.

Please note that we have changed our application process in order to improve our customer support service. All potential applicants should contact our new dedicated application advice line between 10am –12pm Monday to Friday. To contact the application advice line please call 028 90 551490 or minicom 028 90 551431 or email
mailto:[email protected]. Generally your email will be responded to between the advice line hours of 10am –12pm.

When you contact the advice line by telephone we will phone you back and you will then be asked some questions regarding your project and a Grant Officer will advise you if it is appropriate for you to be sent an outline proposal form to complete.

Please let us know what format you require our application materials in. Our outline proposal forms are available in hard copy or can be emailed. Full application forms are available in CD rom, e mail, hard copy, large print and braille.

Once you have received feedback on your outline proposal you can make a decision as to whether it would be appropriate for you to complete a full application form.

The Big Lottery Fund is working on developing new programmes in response to the present consultation and your views are still welcome.
