Guide to ethical aspects of Research grants applications
It is vital that research funded by us is conducted according to rigorous ethical standards. This publication sets out the standards we require from the research we fund. We hope that it will give you valuable guidance in identifying and dealing with the ethical matters that are relevant to your project.

Research Grants Awards List
The Research Grants Programme made it’s first awards in January 2002, to date 83projects have received grants totalling approximately £17.6m.

74 per cent of our awards were to projects that focus on one of our four priority areas (Black and Ethnic Minorities, Learning Difficulties, Older, Young and multiple priorities).

Research Grants provides quarterly updates on topics relevant to our priority groups. Our first update concentrates on research issues around Black and Minority Ethnic Groups, one of the Programme’s four priority groups
