Scotland office application processing times
Community Fund is committed to meeting our published service standards. We know that our applicants are keen that we make and communicate our decisions as quickly as possible, and you can download information on how well we are meeting this aim.

Three way agreement
Communities everywhere are keen to see lottery funds being well used and put where they're needed. The Community Fund now has a strategy to help make sure lottery funds support projects that will bring lasting benefits across Scotland. In partnership with local authorities throughout Scotland and with every Council for Voluntary Service in the country, we have put in place an arrangement we call the Three Way Agreement.

Community involvement
From 1998 to 2001 our Community Involvement grants programme aimed to encourage people to improve their quality of life by becoming more involved in their communities or by playing a fuller part in society. We wanted to find out if our grants had achieved that goal.

Drug misuse and homelessness
Drug misuse and homelessness are two of the most significant social problems in the UK. In Scotland policies and funding to tackle these problems have been significant planks of the Scottish Executive's social justice and health strategies.

This report captures the main points which emerged during our conference 'Taken for grants: Racial equality in grant-making' in October 2000.
