We produce booklets about different types of property. Using the information below, please select the best booklet or booklets for your project. These will help you make a good application to Community Fund.
Construction, alteration, refurbishment or extension booklet
This booklet is for applicants who already own or lease a building and want to alter it or who want to build a new building (they could be building a new building from scratch or knocking down an existing building and building a new one).
Additional information for property applicants (grants for medium-sized projects)
If you want us to fund buildings and property costs under our Grants for medium-sized projects programme, you must fill in this form and send it to us with all the information we ask for.
Property guidance - Important legal information
If you are applying for a grant for property or land of more than £50,000, you should note that we will take out a 'legal charge' or 'caution' on the property as security for our money. It is vital that you read this information before you apply and ask your solicitor to explain what it will mean for you.
Purchase or lease booklet
The purchase or lease booklet is specifically for applicants who wish to purchase (freehold) a building or land of who wish to buy the lease of a building or land. You do not need to have found a building.
Temporary buildings or improving open spaces
This booklet is for applicants who want to purchase a temporary building (eg Portakabin) or applicants who want to work on a piece of land eg for a playground or garden.
