HOMEPAGEABOUT USOUR GRANTS PROGRAMMES |
Applying for a research grant
| |||||||
The Research grants programme is continuous. We expect to make decisions on grants three times a year with three corresponding administrative deadlines a year falling in February, June and October.
Our deadlines for 2003 are as follows:
- 06 June for decision-making in November - 03 October for decision-making in March 2004 We want to support eligible voluntary groups that can show evidence of research ability, and charities and voluntary groups working in partnership with universities and research centres, where the charity or voluntary group must be the lead partner and the applicant. Please note that we do not fund university research directly. Although we cannot meet with groups on a one to one basis to assist with applications and to help develop projects, we can offer funding advice and more general information about our grant-making. Here we've put together a list of questions that we're often asked by grant applicants, potential applicants and research organisations. |
