 HOMEPAGE/FUNDING YOUR PROJECT/MANAGING YOUR GRANT

Monitoring your grant

Monitoring helps us and you to manage your grant effectively. We want to see that your work is running on time and to budget and that it is delivering the changes you said it would on your application form.

Once you receive a grant from us, you will have a named Grants Officer as your main point of contact and this will be a different person to the officer who assessed your application in the first place. Your Grants Officer is there to answer questions you might have or to discuss any issues about your grant from us.

Keeping us informed

Sometimes changes to an organisation or a project might seem insignificant - but these changes can cause big problems for us if we don't know about them. For example, we need to know if

- Your office bearers change
- Your contact details change
- Your organisation's name or legal status is going to change

Meeting our monitoring requirements

Part of the Terms and Conditions of any grant mean that you are required to monitor and evaluate the progress of your project. Every year, and at the end of the life of your grant, we will send you a progress report which you should complete. The information on the form will help us to see that the project is:

- progressing as predicted
- achieving what it set out to
- reaching the people that it promised to
- operating on the budget that was agreed at the start of the grant

We will also need to see copies of your accounts for every year of your grant.
